Mr. Gregory Ashford slept away peacefully, entering God's gates on October 6, 2025. Viewing will take place at Leon A. White Cremations & Funeral Home Chapel on Monday October 13, 2025, starting at 1pm until 7pm. Mr. Greg will also rest for more family and friends throughout the week as well. So you are invited and more welcomed to join us celebrate Mr. Greg.
Greg had the heart of a lion — strong, brave, and full of love that stretched far beyond himself. He was the kind of man who would give his last to help someone else, who stood tall not just for what was right, but for who he loved. When Greg walked into a room, you felt his presence — his laughter, his warmth, that spark that could turn a bad day into a lighter one. He didn't just talk about love, he showed it, in the way he cared, the way he protected, and the way he stayed loyal no matter what. He was a good father, a devoted son, a loving brother, and a friend you could count on even in the hardest times. His strength reminded us what courage truly looks like, and his heart reminded us what love really means. Though his time here feels far too short, the impact he left will echo forever in every life he touched. Greg will never be forgotten — because love that deep doesn't fade. It lives on.
Gregory came from a large and loving family. He was the son of Brenda and Donald and the brother of Shanay, Antwon, Tywan, Tawanna, Tyreece, Teanay, Terrance,Timothy, and Elizabeth. Gregory was the proud father of Daquan, Anjaliyah, Demarion, and A'Lena. Family was the heart of everything for Gregory. His aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members shared his laughter. He was admired for his strength, and cherished for his generous spirit. Whether it was showing up to support a loved one, lending a hand, or simply bringing joy to the room, Greg made sure everyone felt seen, valued, and loved. He shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings a connection built on loyalty, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. His presence was the glue that held many hearts together, and his spirit continues to unite the family in love and strength.
